The clinic's atmosphere is supportive and dynamic, fostering continuous communication between team members. Our work hours are Monday through Friday from 9 AM to 5 PM, allowing for a structured yet satisfying work-life balance. We take pride in our clean and organized treatment areas that promote a positive patient experience.Key ResponsibilitiesCollaborate with licensed Physical Therapists to administer treatments, including therapeutic exercises, manual therapy techniques, and various modalities as outlined in patient plans of care.Provide hands-on assistance during patient activities, functional exercises, and mobility training, observing and adapting to individual patient needs and progress.Maintain detailed documentation of patient progress and treatment records using Electronic Medical Records (EMR) systems, ensuring compliance with all regulatory and clinic guidelines.Educate patients and their families about exercise protocols, the use of assistive devices, and self-care techniques that facilitate better recovery.Monitor patient safety and comfort throughout all treatments, providing reassurance and support to individuals as they engage in rehabilitation activities.Actively participate in team meetings to discuss patient progress and make recommendations for ongoing care improvement.Assist in the overall operation of the clinic, including maintaining a clean and organized treatment area.Facilitate communication among patients, families, and staff to ensure clarity regarding treatment objectives and progress expectations.Patient Population / Client FocusAt Royal Heights Rehabilitation Center, we cater to a diverse patient demographic, including individuals recovering from orthopedic surgeries, neurological conditions, and various medical illnesses. Our team is experienced in addressing the unique challenges faced by patients with different needs, ensuring a compassionate, individualized approach to their rehabilitation journey.QualificationsAn Associate's degree from an accredited Physical Therapy Assistant program.Current or eligibility for licensure as a PTA in the state of Nevada.A solid understanding of rehabilitation techniques and treatment modalities.Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, enabling effective interaction with patients, families, and the clinical team.Capacity to work independently while maintaining clear communication with supervising Physical Therapists.Demonstrated compassion and a patient-centered approach to care.Preferred ExperienceAt least 2 years of experience as a PTA in a clinical setting.Proficiency in working with a variety of patient populations including those with orthopedic, neurological, and post-surgical needs.Experience with Electronic Medical Records (EMR) systems is highly desirable.New graduates are welcomed; we offer strong mentorship and training programs to support your career development.Compensation and BenefitsWe offer a competitive salary ranging from $85,000 to $90,000, commensurate with experience, along with a comprehensive benefits package that includes health insurance, retirement savings plans, paid time off, and continuing education opportunities.
