Maintenance SupervisorThe Maintenance Supervisor will lead daily maintenance operations in a high-volume food manufacturing facility. This role is responsible for ensuring equipment reliability, minimizing downtime, and managing preventive maintenance programs while leading a team of technicians to support production goals and maintain compliance with safety and regulatory standards.Key ResponsibilitiesSupervise daily maintenance activities and ensure timely completion of work ordersRespond quickly to production breakdowns and minimize downtimeSchedule and monitor preventive maintenance (PM) programsLead and mentor a team of 10–20 maintenance techniciansEnsure compliance with OSHA, USDA, and safety standardsProject & Budget ManagementPlan and execute maintenance-related projects to improve efficiencyMonitor and control maintenance budgetsTrack KPIs such as: Downtime reductionCost savingsEquipment performanceCollaboration & CommunicationPartner with production and cross-functional teamsCommunicate maintenance standards and expectationsAct as escalation point for maintenance-related issuesAdditional ResponsibilitiesInterpret blueprints, diagrams, and technical documentationIdentify and resolve equipment performance issuesSupport continuous improvement initiativesMust-Have Requirements3–6 years of maintenance experience in manufacturing environmentMinimum 2+ years in a supervisory/lead roleExperience leading teams of 10–20 employeesStrong experience with: Preventive maintenance programsProduction equipment troubleshootingKnowledge of: Electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and mechanical systemsFamiliarity with OSHA and USDA regulationsRequired SkillsStrong leadership and team management skillsEquipment troubleshooting and maintenance planningAbility to read technical diagrams and blueprintsKnowledge of manufacturing maintenance practicesStrong communication and problem-solving skillsBasic computer skills (MS Word, Excel)Preferred / Nice-to-Have SkillsTechnical education (vocational / engineering / electronics)Experience in food manufacturing or USDA-regulated environmentExperience identifying equipment anomalies and improving performanceProject management experienceCore CompetenciesLeadership and team developmentMaintenance planning and executionContinuous improvement mindsetSafety and compliance focusOperational efficiency and problem-solvingEducationTechnical diploma / associate degree (preferred)Relevant vocational training (acceptable) Veracity
