Pay Rate: $21.91/hr. minimum. Dependent on experience.
Shift: Day. Weekends are required.

Purpose
As a House Attendant at Snoqualmie Casino & Hotel, you are an integral part of the housekeeping team, ensuring that all public areas, hallways, and other specified spaces within the casino and hotel are maintained to the highest standards of cleanliness and order. Your efforts contribute significantly to the overall guest experience by providing a clean, safe, and welcoming environment.
Essential Duties / Responsibilities
- Public Area Maintenance: Maintain cleanliness and order in all public areas, including lobbies, hallways, restrooms, and conference rooms. This includes vacuuming carpets, mopping floors, dusting, and disposing of trash.
- Support Room Attendants: Assist room attendants by transporting linens, supplies, and trash as needed. Help with heavy lifting and moving of furniture during deep cleaning or room setups.
- Supply Management: Replenish housekeeping supplies in storerooms and organize supplies to ensure that room attendants have what they need to efficiently perform their duties.
- Guest Interaction: Provide courteous and professional service to guests when encountered. Address minor guest requests and report any issues to the Housekeeping Supervisor promptly.
- Safety Compliance: Follow all safety and sanitation policies to maintain a safe environment for both guests and team members. Report any maintenance or safety issues to the Housekeeping Supervisor.
- Special Projects: Participate in special cleaning projects as directed, such as seasonal deep cleaning and preparation of event spaces.
- Team Collaboration: Work closely with other hotel staff, such as laundry personnel and other house attendants, to ensure timely turnover of rooms.
- Other duties as assigned.
Requirements
Education and Experience:
- Ability to read, write, and verbally communicate in English.
- Previous experience in a cleaning, custodial, or housekeeping role.

- Physical Stamina: Capable of performing physical tasks, including lifting, bending, and walking extensively throughout the property.
- Attention to Detail: Able to carry out tasks with thoroughness, ensuring areas are prepared to the highest standard.
- Team Collaboration: Works well within a team environment, supporting colleagues and contributing to joint tasks.
- Initiative: Shows proactivity in identifying areas that need attention and taking appropriate actions without needing direct supervision.
- Flexibility: Willing to take on a variety of tasks and adapt to varying workloads and demands.
Snoqualmie Casino & Hotel exercises Snoqualmie Tribal Member/Native American preference in hiring, in compliance with the Snoqualmie Tribal Employment Rights Ordinance (TERO). You must obtain and maintain a Gaming License from the Snoqualmie Gaming Commission. Pre-employment drug testing is required for all positions. The use of marijuana will not disqualify an applicant for positions in any department other than Transportation (Valet, Driver I). DOT panel testing is required for the Driver position.
