Physical Therapist Opportunity

Make a meaningful impact supporting students in a dedicated, onsite contract opportunity as a physical therapist working with a diverse Kage 26 population. This full-time assignment runs from ASAP through June 10, 2027, providing continuity and consistency for students in a Center Base Program for moderate to severe disabilities. You'll become a valued member of a collaborative team committed to helping students achieve their mobility and developmental goals.

Essential Qualities and Credentials:

• Michigan Physical Therapy license (valid, with screenshot for verification required)
• Previous school-based PT experience is essential
• Comfortable supporting students with moderate to severe disabilities
• Expertise with IEPs and collaborating with multi-disciplinary teams
• Full-time availability (35 hours/week), committed to the full contract term
• Professional, reliable, and ready to jump in as soon as possible
• Experience working with children and young adults up to age 26
• Ability to provide direct therapy services and adapt interventions as needed
• Strong communication skills to work effectively with staff, students, and families

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver individualized and group PT services onsite for Kage 26 students
• Conduct assessments and develop effective therapy plans in accordance with IEP goals
• Collaborate closely with educators and related service professionals
• Track and document student progress, adjusting interventions for optimal outcomes
• Support a positive, safe, and inclusive learning environment
• Maintain adherence to state regulations and district policies
• Serve as a resource to staff and families regarding physical therapy needs
