Controller

Adams & Martin Group is seeking a Controller to manage the daily accounting operations for our client's law firm. This position will be a key member of the firm's leadership team and will be responsible for the daily accounting operations as well as guiding strategic financial decisions. Law Firm experience a plus but not required. Salary: USD130000 - USD150000 per year Duties Include: Oversee the accounting responsibilities (AP/AR, billing, general ledger entries, bank reconciliation) Develop and maintain accounting policies, procedures, and internal controls to ensure compliance with accounting principles and financial regulations Prepare financial reports and maintain accounting records Review and analyze financial statements, budgets, and forecasts to identify areas of improvement and recommend solutions Ensure that all financial transactions are accurately recorded, monitored, and reported in a timely manner Monitor and manage the company’s cash flow, ensuring adequate funds are available to meet operating needs and expenditures Provide financial analysis as needed Comply with local, state, and federal government reporting requirements and tax filings Managing a small accounting team Additional accounting duties/special projects, as necessary. Education/Experience: Bachelor’s degree or higher in Accounting CPA a plus, but not required Self-motivated and able to work with limited direct supervision Ability to receive and communicate instruction effectively through both written and verbal means Possess problem solving and decision-making skills Extremely organized and attention to detail Strong proficiency in QuickBooks and Microsoft Office Prefer 5+ years full cycle accounting experience Benefits include company paid medical, dental and vision, 401(k) with match, paid time off and much more! equal opportunity employer. #J-18808-Ljbffr
