Details Work in the PreOp unit of a hospital, preparing and recovering patients for procedural care Day shift schedule (4x10 hours, 7:00 AM–5:30 PM), Monday through Friday Uses Epic EMR; more than one year of Epic experience preferred, otherwise instructor-led Epic training will be required Requirements Active IL RN license required in hand ICU or ED experience required Nursys report required, pulled within the last two weeks Less than 2 years of experience may be accepted Additional Information Provide preoperative preparation and postoperative recovery care in a procedural setting Accepts local candidates at the same bill rate RTO limited to no more than 3 days, with none permitted during the first or last week of the contract Former UChicago Medicine, PRN, or Ingalls permanent staff must have been separated for at least 7 months before returning as a traveler Any block scheduling or special schedule requests must be submitted at time of application and discussed during the interview; requests made after offer acceptance will not be honored These details are based on information provided by the facility and may include inaccuracies or be subject to updates.
