You will play a vital role in supporting student well-being, conducting assessments, and collaborating with educators and families to develop strategies that address academic, social, and emotional needs. This onsite position offers the chance to make a direct impact within the school community, with the number of assigned schools and caseload details to be determined. Key qualifications and requirements: Active Louisiana Department of Education School Psychologist Certification (DOE Cert) is required. Ability to complete time-sensitive credentialing, including a district drug screen and fingerprints as well as standard agency requirements. Previous experience as a School Psychologist within a school setting is highly desired. Strong interpersonal, communication, and problem-solving skills. Demonstrated ability to collaborate as part of a multidisciplinary team. Primary responsibilities: Conduct psychoeducational assessments and interpret results for students across various age groups. Develop, implement, and monitor individualized education plans in collaboration with school staff and families. Consult with teachers, parents, and administrators to support students’ mental health and educational success. Offer crisis intervention and support within the school community as needed. Maintain thorough and accurate documentation in accordance with state and district guidelines.
