Camp Counselor

Description Job Title: Camp Counselor Our summer camp is seeking a responsible and enthusiastic Camp Counselor to join our team. As a Camp Counselor, you will be responsible for supervising and leading campers with intellectual and/or developmental disabilities in various activities, ensuring their safety and well‑being, and creating a positive and fun environment for all. Responsibilities Supervise and lead campers in various activities such as sports, arts and crafts, and outdoor adventures. Ensure the safety and well‑being of all campers at all times. Create a positive and fun environment for campers to learn and grow. Communicate effectively with campers, parents, and other staff members. Adapt activities as needed. Follow all camp policies and procedures. Attend all required staff meetings and training sessions. Requirements At least 17 years old. Ability to work a summer camp schedule. Experience working with children preferred. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work well in a team environment. Positive attitude and enthusiasm for working with children.
