Data Engineer (Hybrid)Dublin, CA / Houston, TX (onsite 1-2 days a week) Duration: 6 month CTHTop skill sets:Snowflake Must haveExperience in Azure cloud is first preference, open to the candidate that has experience in GCP or AWSMust have a minimum of 8 years experience as Data Engineer this is a technical role and would need someone who understands how to developExperienced with designing and implementing data pipelines that move data from various sources (such as database) into Snowflake data warehouse.Data warehousing experience with on-prem systems.DBT (data build tool) – is nice to have as this tool is new to the marketBackground in Oracle GoldenGate Attunity (Qlik)/ StreamSets.Bash & Python scriptingData modeling, data architect,DevOps: CI/CD folk that have worked on cloud platform would have the Devops experience.Day-to-day duties: would be working in Agile pod. They should expect to work as IC or part of Agile pod working on project. Typical goes with our stand up for data engineers. Working with the other teams at Ross – BI teamClear communication and conscientious communication skills if there is a question or a blocker being able to speak up and bring this issue to the team and not wait till last minuteBeing technical: being able to mitigate risk I have this problem and here are a few ideas on how to solve.
