Minimum Requirements

• Master's Degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited educational program.
• Completed Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) and current Certificate of Clinical Competence from ASHA.
• Active Texas state license is required to start the assignment.
• BLS certification from AHA or ARC may be required.
• At least 2 years of hospital experience preferred; must have former hospital experience (client-specific).
• Experience with tracheostomy, dysphagia assessment and treatment, and critical care patients preferred (client-specific).
• Former experience with HCA systems preferred (client-specific).

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience working in acute care hospital settings.
• Previous experience with electronic medical records used in hospitals.

Assignment Details

• Shift hours: 0800-1630.
• Rotating weekend coverage: approximately 2 weekend days per 4-week scheduling period.
