Salary Range: $42,000 - $65,000 depending on experience

The Opportunity

We are partnering with organizations in Allendale that are seeking Inspection Technicians. Key Responsibilities

• Perform visual and dimensional inspections of in-process and finished goods.
• Utilize precision measuring tools such as calipers, micrometers, and gauges.
• Document inspection results accurately and maintain detailed records.
• Identify and report non-conforming materials or products.
• Collaborate with production and quality teams to resolve quality issues.
• Conduct first article inspections and in-process audits.
• Adhere to established quality standards, procedures, and safety protocols.

Recommended Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED
• 1-3 years of experience in quality control, inspection, or a related manufacturing role
• Proficient in reading and interpreting blueprints, schematics, and technical documents
• Demonstrated ability to use various precision measuring instruments (e.g., calipers, micrometers, gauges)
• Strong attention to detail and ability to identify defects or non-conformities
• Basic computer skills for data entry and report generation

Bonus Qualifications

• Experience with Statistical Process Control (SPC) techniques.
• Familiarity with Lean manufacturing principles.
• Ability to interpret CAD models and technical drawings.
• Experience with various measurement tools beyond basic calipers/micrometers (e.g., CMM, optical comparators).
• Certification in a relevant quality discipline (e.g., ASQ CQT, NDT certifications).
