Job Description

The primary duty of this role is the electrical assembly and soldering using small hand and/or power tools. You will be responsible for the final assembly of robots, as well as testing and troubleshooting of subassemblies and final assemblies.

Responsibilities

• Assemble mechanical and electrical subassemblies of robots using hand and power tools.
• Test and troubleshoot subassemblies and final assemblies.
• Assemble robots according to provided blueprints, drawings, or schematics.

Essential Skills

• Minimum of 12 years of experience in a manufacturing or production environment, specifically with electronics.
• Soldering experience necessary - even just some exposure helps!
• Experience in reading electrical schematics.
• Proficiency with hand tools, including crimpers, drills, taps, torque wrenches, power tools, and air tools.
• Experience working with circuit boards is a plus, but not necessary.

Work Environment

Join a team-focused manufacturing environment that is extremely clean and quiet, easy to focus in and willing to train! The headquarters offers a diverse range of facilities, including office, classroom, production, repair, and laboratory spaces, along with a 5,000-gallon test water tank. The 40,000 square feet facility operates on a 1st shift Monday-Friday work schedule.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Pottstown, PA.

The pay range for this position is $21.00 - $26.00/hr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.

This is a fully onsite position in Pottstown,PA.
