Neuroscience Specialist, CNS- Spokane WA (Waterville WA, Yakima WA, Wauconda WA)

Position Overview Enhance customer engagement and thought leadership within the organization. The Neuroscience Specialist engages healthcare professionals (HCPs) through in‑person, virtual, and digital tools, sharing expertise on products and their approved indications. The role supports local care delivery, aiming to improve patient, caregiver, and HCP experiences. Key Responsibilities Proactively reach out to HCPs about product access, on‑label information, and patient care guidance. Engage customers via virtual or digital tools and direct them to other colleagues (e.g., Customer Service Specialists) as needed. Facilitate speaker programs and organize local provider groups for discussions on experiences and outcomes. Elevate opportunities and feedback to the Area Business Lead, providing local market insights to inform strategy and business goals. Collaborate with the ecosystem team to adjust targeting and call point plans, ensuring compliance. Translate insights collected from customer‑facing activities into actionable local strategy. Experience & Qualifications Minimum 2 years of pharmaceutical or medical device sales experience. Prior experience in CNS, psychiatry, or ADHD preferred. Experience launching a new product or indication preferred. Must reside within 50 miles of the primary city in the sales territory. 4+ years of sales experience with HCPs, ideally representing multiple products. Ability to work in an ambiguous, transforming environment. Proven track record in coaching, training, and mentoring peers. Demonstrates commitment to ethical business practices, regulatory standards, and compliance. Ability to communicate complex clinical and product information. Valid U.S. driver’s license and acceptable driving record. Willingness to travel overnight, as required by territory geography. Key Sales Capabilities Uses competitive data and business reports to track progress and uncover opportunities. Evaluates territory and business conditions to set near‑term priorities for the territory business plan. Responds compliant to competitive threats and opportunities. Educates office staff on payer guidelines and reimbursement procedures. Effectively utilizes promotional materials. Territory Analysis / Business Planning Tracks progress using sales data and promotional budgets. Identifies professional groups in the territory to network with key opinion leaders. Builds strong relationships with office personnel, focusing on patient health. Selling Skills, Engagement & Account Pull Through Maintains awareness of support team resources and utilizes them appropriately. Applies market knowledge to overcome objections and influence prescribing habits. Delivers effective office calls and sales presentations using approved materials. Salary range is typical for U.S. positions and may vary based on experience, skills, and internal comparisons.
