About the Role:
Woofie's of Barrington-Northwest is growing, and we're looking for a talented, compassionate groomer to join our mobile team — part-time, and built around a calmer way of working. No shop floor chaos, no back-to-back scheduling — just you, a fully-equipped van, and pets who get your full attention, one at a time.

What you'll do:

• Drive our state-of-the-art mobile grooming van directly to clients' homes across Barrington and the Northwest suburbs
• Provide full-service grooming — baths, haircuts, brush outs, nail trims, ear cleaning, and all the fun glow up's
• Handle dogs of all breeds, sizes, and temperaments with patience and skill
• Build genuine relationships with pets and their people — many of whom will request you by name
• Keep the van clean, organized, and stocked, because a tidy groomer is a happy groomer
• Maintain accurate service notes and communicate professionally with clients and our office team
• Ensure pets are handled safely and compassionately at all times 

What you bring:

• Previous professional grooming experience 
• A calm, confident hand with nervous or wiggly clients
• A valid driver's license and clean driving record
• Physical stamina — this job involves lifting, bending, and the occasional wet-dog wrestling match
• A genuine love of animals that shows in your work, not just your Instagram bio
• Reliability and a strong sense of ownership over your schedule and the van
