Family Practice - With OB Physician

Dane Street is expanding our physician panel! We are seeking a skilled and board-certified Family Practice physician to join our team for Independent Medical Record Reviews. This is a fully remote opportunity offering flexible scheduling, allowing you to accept or decline cases based on your availability. Our physician panel is comprised of independent contract reviewers (1099) compensated on a per-case basis.
Dane Street is a national leader in Independent Medical Examinations, medical record reviews, and peer review services, trusted by insurance carriers and organizations nationwide for objective, high-quality medical evaluations.
Key Responsibilities:- Thorough review and analysis of prepared medical records
- Provide expert, advisory-only opinions regarding the claimant s current condition and potential future medical needs
- Respond to clinical questions to support claims management
- Deliver clear, well-supported written reports within an expected turnaround time of 5 days
- No face-to-face interaction with claimants; this is a record-review only role
- Robust opportunity for supplemental income
- Fully remote assignments with flexible, predictable work hours
- No doctor/patient relationship is established, and no treatment is provided
- Enhanced industry expertise in medical necessity, utilization review, and claims support
- Expanded credentials as an expert medical reviewer
- Fully prepped cases, streamlined workflow, transcription services at no cost, and a user-friendly online portal
- Board certification in (Specialty) required
- Prior experience with medical record reviews, IMEs, or peer reviews preferred
- Strong analytical skills and excellent written communication abilities
