Mechanical Millwright

Mechanical Millwright Weyerhaeuser Company is searching for a skilled Industrial Maintenance position to join our Maintenance team at Evergreen EWP Plant located in Castleberry, AL. This facility's primary products are TJI Joists and Microllam Laminated Veneer Lumber for beam and header applications. We are seeking individuals who have a thorough comprehensive knowledge of mechanical equipment, processes, and techniques to safely repair, modify, install, and maintain the facility and high-tech lumber manufacturing equipment. Must be committed to safety, have a positive attitude, excellent work ethic, great communication skills, and a desire to work in a manufacturing facility. Must be willing and able to work rotating shifts, to include days, nights, weekends and holidays as operating conditions require Starting Pay Rate: $28.17 - $33.80, depending on level of experience Key Functions Machinery lubrication Repairing and troubleshooting mechanical power transmissions Bearing installment, coupling, belts, sprockets and chain drive installations Repair and troubleshooting of pneumatic and hydraulic systems Metal fabrication and basic principles of cylinder repair Some troubleshooting and exposure to industrial electricity issues Qualifications - External A High School Diploma or GED is required Stable employment history with a minimum of three (3) years' experience in Industrial Mechanical work A personal and total commitment to observe all safety rules and regulations Experience with Machinery lubrication Ability to repair and troubleshoot mechanical power transmissions Previous experience with bearing installment, coupling, belts, sprockets and chain drive installations Ability to repair and troubleshoot issues with pneumatic and hydraulic systems Past experience with metal fabrication and basic principles of cylinder repair Good working knowledge of basic industrial electricity issues Commitment to follow all unit electrical / maintenance practices Ability to pass a pre-employment examination Preferred Qualifications Vocational or technical school certificate in related area Past employment experience in a manufacturing environment Experience with SAP or other CMMS Knowledge of fire protection systems Air compressor maintenance experience Ability to comprehend blueprints About Wood Products: We've been delivering quality building products and solutions to our customers for more than 100 years.
