American Traveler is seeking a Physical Therapist Assistant with IL PTA licensure and 1+ year of relevant experience for a therapy position in Danville, IL.

Work in an outpatient therapy department implementing treatment plans established by the supervising physical therapist.

Treat patients of all ages using therapeutic exercise, gait and balance training, ultrasound, electrical stimulation, and aquatic therapy.

Utilize a therapy EMR for daily documentation and charging.

Schedule is Monday through Friday, 9:00 AM to 5:30 PM with no weekend or holiday shifts required.

IL PTA license required (if applicable).

BLS-AHA certification required.

Associate's degree in Physical Therapy Assistant required.

Minimum one year of relevant experience required.

Experience with clinical documentation and teaching methods required.

Experience with therapy EMR charting required.

Serve as a clinical resource and role model for staff and students.

Educate patients, families, caregivers, students, and other healthcare providers using effective teaching methods.

Adjust treatment based on patient response after communicating with and documenting coordination with the evaluating therapist.

Communicate with referring providers regarding patient progress and treatment recommendations.

Complete documentation in accordance with facility clinical documentation policy.

RTO not to exceed 7 total days per 13-week contract.

Candidates residing within 50 miles are not eligible for this position.
