OTR Truck Driver Prichard, West Virginia
House-Hasson Hardware is a growing and reliable transportation provider with a strong reputation for safety, service, and taking care of our drivers. We are currently seeking qualified Class A CDL OTR Drivers to join our team based in Prichard, West Virginia. Our routes take you across state lines, and drivers are typically out for several days at a time.
As an OTR driver, you'll be responsible for transporting freight across long distances while maintaining safety, efficiency, and professionalism. You might not be home daily, but we offer consistent miles, reliable equipment, and support while you're on the road.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate a Class A commercial vehicle across state lines.
- Deliver freight safely and on time to various destinations.
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections.
- Maintain accurate logbooks using ELD (Electronic Logging Device).
- Communicate with dispatch regularly for scheduling and updates.
- Ensure loads are properly secured and comply with DOT regulations.
Requirements:
- Valid Class A CDL.
- Minimum 1 year of verifiable OTR experience preferred.
- Clean MVR and driving history.
- Must pass DOT drug screen and background check.
- Willingness to be out on the road for extended periods.
- Strong time-management and organizational skills.
