Position Summary

We are seeking an experienced Emergency Room Registered Nurse (ER RN) for a 15-week travel assignment in Hawaii. This is an exciting opportunity to work in a fast-paced, high-acuity emergency department with strong teamwork and rapid patient turnover.

The Emergency Department consists of:

• 28-bed Emergency Department
• 4 Trauma Bays
• 2 Behavioral Health Rooms
• 22 Cardiac Monitor Rooms

The ideal candidate will be confident managing a diverse patient population, prioritizing care in a dynamic environment, and collaborating effectively with interdisciplinary teams.

Responsibilities

• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate emergency nursing care.
• Provide care for patients with acute illnesses, injuries, and trauma.
• Monitor and respond to changes in patient condition.
• Administer medications and treatments according to physician orders and facility protocols.
• Collaborate with physicians, ancillary staff, and healthcare team members to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation.
• Adhere to all facility, regulatory, and patient safety standards.

Requirements

Required Qualifications

• Current Registered Nurse (RN) license.
• Active Hawaii RN License by assignment start date.
• Travelers not currently holding a Hawaii license must apply upon offer acceptance and obtain licensure before the start of the assignment.
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• Current Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification.
• Current Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification.
• Previous Emergency Department experience in a fast-paced acute care setting.

Preferred Qualifications

• Procedural Sedation Certification.
• rauma Nursing Core Course (TNCC).
• Emergency Nursing Pediatric Course (ENPC).
