The role is hosted within Aspen Technology, a business unit inside Emerson Corporation, and focuses on leading the product strategy and execution for the Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES) suite. You will set vision, collaborate with R&D, the field, and customers, and drive product strategy from ideation to commercial launch.

Responsibilities

• Define and execute product vision and strategy for the MES suite across product lifecycles.
• Drive agile product roadmaps, positioning, pricing, differentiation, market competition strategy, and value proof points.
• Engage deeply with customers to understand their challenges, lead advisory forums and co‑innovation initiatives, and capture user feedback.
• Transform the commercial and sales organization through leadership, fostering differentiation, and delivering market success.
• Lead people: hire, coach, retain top talent and build a best‑in‑class product management organization.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of progressive, product‑centric technology leadership with a proven record of taking complex, enterprise products from early‑stage development to commercial launch.
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering required (MBA preferred). Deep grounding in plant operations within industrial and manufacturing environments.
• Strategic understanding of AI‑enabled and cloud‑based platforms; proven ability to incorporate modern cloud architectures into long‑term product strategy.
• Recognized expertise in process‑industry customer needs, including process engineering and operational excellence.
• Extensive experience leading product management organizations, building, mentoring, and scaling high‑performing teams.
• Strong commercial acumen – ability to assess how solutions integrate into customer ecosystems, translate insight into monetization strategies, and sustain revenue growth.
• Advanced analytical and decision‑making skills, using customer insights, competitive intelligence, dashboards, and performance metrics.
• Working knowledge of process and manufacturing systems, including process historians (e.g., AspenTech IP.21, APRM), EAM, ERP, and MES platforms.
