Hands‑on training and development A fun, fast‑paced work environment Responsibilities Deliver an exceptional guest experience; provide friendly, prompt service at the register or self‑checkout Suggest additional products to enhance guest purchases Address guest concerns with urgency and involve managers as needed Foster a team‑oriented, respectful work environment Keep stores stocked and fresh; ensure food and beverage items meet quality standards Maintain cleanliness in food prep areas and follow all safety regulations Restock shelves, coolers, and display areas as needed Keep the store clean and organized; complete regular cleaning tasks Assist in inventory management and restocking Operate the cash register efficiently and accurately; process transactions Ensure the register area is clean, organized, and stocked Act as the first point of contact for guest concerns, escalating issues appropriately Manage line lengths and provide clear communication during guest transactions Follow food safety protocols and maintain safe storage practices Promote product awareness and drive engagement Respond to feedback from guests and team members to improve performance Be a reliable team player: arrive on time, support teammates, share information Qualifications High School Diploma or GED (or in progress) Previous experience in a fast‑paced, guest‑focused environment is a plus A team player who takes initiative and enjoys working with people Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and perform physical tasks like bending and standing May be required to obtain and maintain food handler or alcohol server permits, depending on state/local regulations All qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment with RaceTrac without regard to race, national origin, religion, age, color, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, disability, or protected veteran status, or any other characteristic protected by local, state, or federal laws.
