Quality Inspector / CMM ProgrammerWe are seeking an experienced Quality Inspector / CMM Programmer to join an established precision manufacturing operation. This is a hands-on quality position for someone with strong metrology experience who knows how to program, operate, and troubleshoot CMM inspection processes. You will work closely with manufacturing and engineering to ensure machined components meet print, dimensional, and quality requirements.The right candidate will bring hands-on PC-DMIS programming experience and a strong understanding of precision measurement, blueprint reading, and GD&T.What You'll DoDevelop, write, edit, and maintain CMM programs using PC-DMISOperate and maintain a CMMDetermine CMM programming and inspection requirements from engineering drawings and specificationsRead and interpret blueprints, routers, quality plans, and GD&TPerform in-process and final inspections of manufactured componentsInspect components using calipers, micrometers, height gauges, bore gauges, thread gauges, and other precision measuring equipmentVerify CMM equipment is operating properly and remains within calibration requirementsComplete and maintain inspection reports and quality recordsIdentify and communicate quality issues to manufacturing and engineeringRespond to manufacturing inspection needs and quality concerns in a timely mannerMaintain accurate records within quality and ERP systemsWhat We're Looking For3PC-DMIS CMM programming experienceQuality inspection or metrology experienceExperience programming and operating CMM equipmentStrong blueprint and engineering drawing interpretation skillsWorking knowledge of GD&TStrong understanding of dimensional inspection and metrologyExperience with common precision measuring instrumentsAbility to understand manufacturing processes and communicate effectively with machinists, engineering, and quality personnelStrong math, organization, and documentation skillsHigh school diploma or equivalentPhysical Requirements: Ability to lift and handle parts weighing up to 30 pounds.
