We are Regency Village at Bend, centrally located in beautiful Bend, OR. We are a retirement and assisted living community providing each individual compassionate care in a nurturing environment. We are looking for caring and compassionate individuals to join our team.

Join our team at Regency Village at Bend as a Cook and play an integral role in creating exceptional culinary experiences for our residents. If you are passionate about food, teamwork and making a difference in the lives of our seniors through great food and amazing service, this is the job for you!

As a cook, you will prepare and serve meals, oversee foodservice operation, and ensures adequate food and supplies are available.

You will:

• Prepare and serve food to residents within the scheduled timeframe
• Follow menu cycle, noting changes or substitutions made on proper form
• Clean and maintains a neat, safe working environment, including the kitchen and food service areas
• Comply with state sanitation codes
• Maintain inventory control, places food orders, verifies that items are received appropriately, and restock appropriately
• Ensure that resident food preferences are known and followed

You Currently:

• Can obtain Food Handler's card. Meet all mandatory health requirements by State regulations
• Typical candidates have one year of cooking experience
• Read, write, speak and understand English
