Description

American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for an Oncology Infusion Center position requiring strong oncology/infusion experience and chemotherapy certification, with a 4x10 day shift schedule.

Details

• Located in a hospital-based oncology infusion center setting
• Serves a cancer patient population requiring infusion therapy, including chemotherapy, electrolytes, and blood products
• Connected to an oncology urgent care unit to accommodate add-on patients or those requiring provider assessment
• Patient ratio of 1:6
• Schedule is four 10-hour day shifts (7:00–17:30)
• Every other weekend required
• Holiday coverage required as scheduled
• Floating may be required within the specialty as needed

Requirements

• Active RN license in Maryland (MD) or a Compact RN license currently in hand
• Current certifications: BLS and ONS/ONCC Chemotherapy certification
• Strong oncology and infusion nursing experience required

Additional Information

• Responsibilities include administration of chemotherapy, electrolytes, and blood products
• Any time-off requests should be disclosed upfront during the consideration process
