Sodexo is seeking a Registered Dietitian to work 32 hours/week at Bethany Village, a 120-bed skilled nursing & rehab facility located in Horseheads, New York ~ 5 miles outside of Elmira. This is a great opportunity for new or experienced Dietitian's!

Health benefits and paid time off available! Reimbursement for Academy dues, state licensure fees and CDR renewal. Money toward continuing education events. Up to $5000 tuition reimbursement annually.

What You'll Do

• Provide compassionate care to skilled nursing and/or rehab residents.
• Consistently meet DOH/state/federal and company standards.
• Serve as an active member of the interdisciplinary team, working closely with nursing & medical staff and attending care conferences as assigned.
• Perform quality improvement initiatives such as patient satisfaction rounds, monthly test trays and meal ticket review.

Qualifications & Requirements

Minimum Education Requirement: Master's degree with completion of required coursework and supervised practice as dictated by the Accreditation Council for Education in Nutrition and Dietetics (ACEND)

For those eligible for the registration exam prior to 1/1/24: Bachelor's degree with completion of required coursework and supervised practice as dictated by the Accreditation Council for Education in Nutrition and Dietetics (ACEND)

Credentials Requirement: Meets eligibility requirements for Registered Dietitian Nutritionist (RD/RDN) by the Commission on Dietetic Registration (CDR) and will become registered within 120 days of hire. Certification/licensure as required by state(s) of practice. In some states and/or facilities the RD/RDN credentials is required at the time of hire. Certification/licensure as required by state(s) of practice. In some states and/or facilities state certification/licensure is required at the time of hire

Minimum Functional Experience - 2 years work experience in health care including hospitals, nursing homes, assisted or independent living facilities, long-term care, retirement homes, or clinics + registered dietitian
