Lead by example and engage with staff and guests in a friendly manner. Monitor day to day operations while providing necessary guidance to staff and assisting needs up Guests and Members.Follow direction from management as a team player to complete the required tasks.Report any maintenance issues, damage or safety hazards to appropriate department and follow through to final resolution.Perform cashier functions to include: post of charges, make change and balance cashier drawerTrain and supervise front desk staff to ensure guest satisfaction.Report any staff concerns to management.Assist in guest services, where needed.Follows established key control policyEnsures proper credit policies are followedCoordinate with Housekeeping to make sure rooms are cleaned and inspected for arrivalsMaintain Lodge supplies for the Front Desk and HousekeepingAssist guests with all needs and resolve guest issuesOversee the housekeeping team – schedules, inspections, orders and special projectsRespond to any reasonable task as assigned by managerMake, confirm and cancel reservations for guestsMaintain open lines of communication with all employees within all departmentsProvide solutions to problems for guests, associates and management. Use empowerment to exceed associate/guest expectations and resolve conflictsResponsible for Group blocks and rooming listsAssist in training new staff membersScheduling Front Desk and Guest Services staffAbility to lift, bend, twist, stand and walk for long periods of timeQUALIFICATIONS & EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS:College degree or equivalent experience.Previous hotel experience, prior Front Desk Supervisor experience desired.Excellent communication skills.Exemplary customer service skills.Ability to accomplish necessary tasks on the computer.Ability to train staff, onboard new hires, and solve problems in a fast-paced environment.Schedule flexibilityADDITIONAL NOTES:This job description is not intended to be an exhaustive list of all duties, responsibilities, or qualifications associated with the job. #J-18808-Ljbffr
