Coder - Health Information Management - Full Time (40 hours/week)

Medical Record Coder The Medical Record Coder is responsible for accurately coding inpatient, outpatient, and emergency patient records, utilizing current coding methodologies. This position will be expected to cross‑train to other positions within Health Information Management. Qualifications High School Diploma or GED; One of the following certifications: RHIA, RHIT, CPC, CCS, CCA from the American Health Information Management Association or American Academy of Professional Coders; Preferred Credentials One year of coding experience in a hospital setting Compensation & Benefits Wage range starts at $25.01/hour and goes up to $38.66/hour. Actual wage will be based on years of applicable experience. FTE: 1.0 = 40 hours/week Benefits: This position is benefits eligible. Union Status: Non-represented position. Remote eligibility: The first 30 days will be in office, after which remote eligibility will be evaluated.
