Apply today!Under the direct supervision of the Lead Custodian, performs manual custodial services in the cleaning and sanitation of the Casino building and facilities.*Native American hiring preference for qualified candidates.ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONSClean and disinfect public bathrooms and employee break areas, cleans and disinfects sinks, toilets, cleans mirrors, sweep and mop floors, check all dispensers (soap, paper towel, and toilet paper), empties trash cans for all departmentsDust all surfaces including light fixtures and overhead paneling; Dust slot machines and standsSweep, mop, clean and wax floors, clean carpets, ash trays, walls and surface areasRemove all finger marks and smudges from vertical surfaces, to include doors, door frames, around light switches, private entrance glass, and partitionsDust all surfaces in public areas including exteriors of slot machines, furniture, lights, floors, windows and doors, public telephones, plants and surfaces on the outside of the buildingShampoo carpets in public areas; restock cleaning suppliesPerform miscellaneous duties as assignedMust follow all safety rules and regulationsFollow all general and department policies and proceduresQUALIFICATIONSHigh School Diploma or GED equivalent requiredAbility to operate variety of industrial-size machines (vacuum cleaner, carpet shampooer and carpet extractor)Ability to understand and follow verbal and written instructionsMust possess outstanding interpersonal communications skills to effectively interface with guests and/or team membersStrong organization, prioritization and multiple-tasking skillsStrong attention to detail, and a commitment to qualityHighly adaptable with the ability to adjust to change in a positive mannerAbility to apply basic mathematical concepts such as adding, subtracting, multiplying and dividingAmerican Indian/ Alaskan Native Hiring Preferences ApplyJoin the 7 Cedars Team!Located in the heart of the beautiful Olympic Peninsula, 7 Cedars Resort offers more than just a job—we offer the opportunity to build a rewarding career in one of the most scenic places in the Pacific Northwest.
