Recent Graduate candidates will work full-time with seasoned Recruiters and Recruiting Leads to gain a foundation for the IT industry - including best recruiting practices. Responsibilities:

\n

\n

· Participate in an informative 3-month training program with experienced Recruiters and Recruiting Leads to boost your career in IT recruiting!

\n

· Work closely with your Recruiting to perfect your skills in sourcing, interviewing, and submitting candidates!

\n

· Gain experience cold calling, interacting and prospecting new business

\n

· Gain a foundation for Optomi’s recruiting and sales process to eventually move into a Technical Recruiter role!

\n

\n

What does a Technical Recruiter do for Optomi?

\n

\n

· Use various job platforms to search for and reach out to qualified candidates passively/actively looking for employment in the market.

\n

· Conduct phone interviews to assess candidate’s technical experience to see if they are a match for job opening.

\n

· Format resume/submittal package to highlight candidate’s top skills for client to review.

\n

· Prepare candidate for phone and in-person interviews by having in-depth conversations surrounding questions, scenarios and technical experience that may be asked by client.

\n

· Work closely with Account Executive to negotiate pay rates for both consultant and client.

\n

· Gather and prepare all onboarding paperwork for candidate after offer/acceptance stage.

\n

· Continue to stay connected with consultant through happy hours, in-person meetings, coffees, etc. to ensure they are happy and successful in their new role.

\n

· Meet minimum weekly metrics including phone interviews/submittals to open jobs.

\n

Basic Requirements:

\n

\n

· Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.

\n

\n

Desired Skills and Experience:

· 0-1 years of professional experience - Training provided!

\n

· Drive and determination to succeed.

\n

· Ability to thrive in a fast-paced and innovative environment.

· Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

\n
