ARNP Hospice

Position Summary Full‑time (FTE: 1.0) day shift position. Responsibilities include providing patient care in the Hospice program, collaborating with physicians to diagnose, treat and manage disease processes, provide symptom management and follow‑up care for terminally ill patients. Schedule: 4–10s per week plus rotating holidays and weekends. Requires current driver’s license, auto insurance, and vehicle for business purposes. Responsibilities Perform face‑to‑face assessment screenings on Hospice patients based on Medicare Hospice eligibility criteria. Prescribe medication doses, routes and frequencies based on individual patient assessments. Actively manage patients in association with the Hospice Medical Director across all levels of care: routine, general inpatient, respite and continuous care. Develop treatment plans based on scientific rationale, standards of care and professional practice guidelines. Requirements Master’s degree as an APRN, Certified in Hospice, Family Medicine or Palliative Care. Graduate of an accredited medical school. Licensed in the state of WA by the time of employment. DEA, NPI & prescriptive authority. Current BLS for Healthcare Providers certification by the American Heart Association. Compensation & Benefits Pay scale: $159,000.00 – $167,400.00 USD annually.
