JW Hicks is looking for a capable, motivated HR Manager . We have a passion to produce the best refractory products on the market and are seeking individuals with an entrepreneurial spirit and heart for "Doing it Right" to help support and grow the team. Requirements Plan, develop and implement strategies for team growth in close collaboration with Executive Management Plan, develop and implement strategies for testing of applicants and permanent employees for skill evaluation and training needs Plan, develop and implement strategies for training and organizational development. This includes succession planning and teammate performance appraisals Manage teammate benefit programs including health and workman's compensation, holiday, vacation and 401(k) Plans Plan, develop and implement strategies for maintaining high level of teammate morale and cohesiveness Maintain current knowledge and understanding of regulations, industry trends, current practices, new developments, and applicable laws regarding human resources Help further and maintain Company work rules and discipline procedures Manage teammate records Required Qualifications Bachelor's degree in human resources management or related field required A minimum of 8 years HR or Operational Leadership experience Demonstrated working knowledge of COBRA, FMLA, ADA, EEOC, benefits administration, compensation and unemployment standards Incumbents in this position are required to demonstrate knowledge of and proficiency in job focused safety concepts and procedures, computer use, quality standards, process operations, technical and maintenance skills and administrative procedures Must pass a post-offer, pre-employment physical and drug screen prior to employment Preferred Qualifications Familiarity with OSHA industrial standards First aid and CPR qualifications Summary In our growing and expanding market, we are looking for someone who likes a challenge and has the drive, knowledge and experience to contribute to the growing business. #J-18808-Ljbffr DeKalb Health
