Purification Scientist Group Leader

Job Description Purification Scientist responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following: Lead team, schedule, and train employees in client environment Conduct performance reviews, manage training records, interview candidates, and support succession planning. Ensure adherence to highest quality and efficiency standards in laboratory operations Foster morale and teamwork Execute discovery‑stage automated purifications using a variety of chromatographic techniques, tangential flow filtration (TFF) and AKTA system Characterize protein solutions using Agilent HPLC, SDS‑Page Responsible for timely delivery and documentation of assay data and support authoring study reports General lab tasks: maintain inventories, prepare solutions and buffer‑based protein purifications, perform AKTA system cleaning and cleaning‑in‑place, routine analytical measurements (pH, UV‑Vis, HPLC), maintain an electronic lab notebook Qualifications Strong computer, scientific, and organizational skills Analytical/Problem‑Solving skills Excellent communication (oral and written) and attention to detail Ability to work independently and as part of a team, self‑motivation, adaptability, and a positive attitude Ability to learn new techniques, perform multiple tasks simultaneously, keep timely and accurate records, follow instructions, identify and implement operational and organizational improvements, comply with company policies and GLP processes, while delivering the highest standard of quality data Bachelor's degree in chemistry, biochemistry, biology, immunology, cell biology, molecular biology, or related field, or equivalent directly‑related experience (two years of directly related industry experience is equivalent to one full‑time year of college in related major) with at least 2 years of experience Experience with protein solutions and protein chromatography analytical characterization Authorization to work in the United States indefinitely without restriction or sponsorship Additional Information Full‑time position, Monday‑Friday 8:00 a.m.‑5:00 p.m. overtime as needed May be requested to work on weekends, overtime, and holidays based on business needs Candidates living within a commutable distance of Indianapolis, IN are encouraged to apply Excellent full‑time benefits, including comprehensive medical coverage, dental, and vision options Life and disability insurance 401(k) with company match Paid vacation and holidays EEO Statement Eurofins USA PSS Insourcing Solutions is a Disabled and Veteran Equal Employment Opportunity employer. #J-18808-Ljbffr Eurofins PSS Insourcing Solutions
