PEDIATRIC GASTROENTEROLOGIST
Phoenix, Arizona
Our organization, a prominent multi-specialty practice in the Phoenix metropolitan area, in collaboration with a leading medical center, is on the lookout for a full-time Board Certified or Board Eligible Pediatric Gastroenterologist.
The medical center is a comprehensive facility featuring a Level 1 Trauma and Burn Center, dedicated to delivering exceptional pediatric healthcare. It includes a Pediatric Emergency Department, Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU), Pediatric Intensive Care Unit (PICU), and a Pediatric Acute Care Unit. Additionally, there is a well-established Federally Qualified Health Center (FQHC) Ambulatory Clinic that offers both general pediatric and subspecialty services, along with other FQHCs throughout the city providing pediatric primary care.
The ideal candidate will possess a solid background in pediatric gastrointestinal disorders, showcasing proficiency in a wide range of pediatric GI endoscopic and related procedures. Strong teaching abilities, effective communication skills, and the capacity to work collaboratively within a team are essential.
We welcome applications from both experienced physicians and recent Fellows. Candidates requiring visa sponsorship (J-1 waiver and/or H1B) will also be considered.
While proficiency in Spanish is advantageous, it is not a mandatory requirement. Our organization is a non-profit multi-specialty physician group dedicated to serving the underserved communities in Maricopa County. The medical center is a teaching facility that supports nine residency programs, with our physicians serving as core faculty. The Pediatric Residency program is jointly operated with a local children's hospital. We also maintain affiliations with the University of Arizona College of Medicine in Phoenix and Creighton University School of Medicine, Phoenix Campus.
