Job Title: Emergency Department Registered Nurse Profession: Registered Nurse Specialty: Emergency Room Duration: 26 weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: 2+ years in Emergency Department License: Active Registered Nurse License Certifications: BLS, PALS, TNCC, ACLS Must-Have: - Previous ED experience - Flexibility to work weekends Description: The facility does not accept travel partners. Locals are allowed. First-time travelers are accepted. The electronic medical record system is Meditech. Block scheduling is allowed. Floating may be required as needed within scope. Call is not required. Weekends are required every third week. Orientation includes 16 hours of training. COVID-19 vaccination is required with medical or religious exemptions accepted only. Flu vaccination is also required with medical or religious exemptions accepted only. Traveler must have a valid U.S. Social Security Number. Traveler must acknowledge that the facility is located on an island. Travelers must provide their interview availability, including time zone. Nursys Report in PDF format is required for RN positions with a minimum of 2 years of experience in the specialty. RTO (Request Time Off) must be submitted with the application. Registered Nurse submissions require an active state license or a compact state license to be in hand at the time of submission. Travel pairs are welcome. Locals are accepted at the same rate. Experience with Meditech is preferred, although training will be provided. Modules are required during orientation for completion. Any completed modules after the first 16 hours of orientation will not be billable. The facility accommodates various patient age groups and diagnoses. Daily census and number of patient visits may vary. This position involves direct patient care in an emergency setting.
