Construction Manager Trainee

This role provides hands‑on learning to prepare for future leadership positions in construction management. Responsibilities Assist in preparing and maintaining job schedules. Inspect and enforce job safety requirements. Complete punch lists and assist in new home orientation lists. Attend construction meetings and training classes as scheduled. Ensure job site cleanliness and assist in model/inventory maintenance. Assist with service‑related issues. Daily interaction with division personnel, subcontractors, business partners, and homeowners. Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent, or 0–2 years of home‑building/ construction experience. Construction experience is preferred. Ability to work in a fast‑paced, team‑oriented setting. Effective communication skills. Computer literacy and proficiency in MS Office (Word and Excel). Valid driver’s license with a good driving record. Valid auto insurance coverage. Physical & Site Presence Requirements Regular, in‑person attendance at company communities/job sites and offices during regular work hours is essential. Requires ability to work more than eight hours per day in confined quarters of a construction trailer, operate a motor vehicle, read plans, climb stairs and ladders, bend, stoop, reach, lift, move and/or carry equipment that may exceed 50 lbs. Occasional operation of construction equipment and finger dexterity for computer keyboard may be required. Compensation & Benefits We reasonably expect the base compensation to range from an hourly rate of $18.48 to $31.00, subject to adjustment based on qualifications and geographic differentials. This position may be eligible for bonuses. This position may be eligible for commissions. Eligible for benefits as described in company policy.
