Make an Impact As a Machinist, you won’t just run machines—you’ll help create precision components that keep the aerospace industry moving forward. From raw materials to flight-ready parts, your craftsmanship directly contributes to safety, performance, and cutting‑edge engineering. What You’ll Do Every Day Mill, drill, bore, and ream parts from extrusions, forgings, plate, and assemblies Operate 3-, 4-, and 5-axis CNC machines with various controls Read and interpret blueprints, engineering orders, and technical instructions Set up machines (with varying levels of independence depending on experience level) Use precision measuring tools to ensure parts meet exact specifications Perform basic CNC program control at the machine Conduct preventative maintenance and maintain equipment calibration Troubleshoot machining and quality issues Collaborate with engineering, quality, tooling, and scheduling teams Maintain a clean, safe, and organized workspace while following all PPE requirements Work Environment & Physical Requirements Regular standing, bending, crouching, and repetitive motion Lift up to 50 lbs independently (more with assistance) Exposure to machine noise, metal dust, and general shop conditions Qualifications Required Multi‑Axis (3, 4, 5) PREFERRED Siemens Controls and/or Zimmerman or Bavius Machines Makino/Mag experience High school diploma or equivalent Mechanical aptitude and strong work ethic Ability to follow technical instructions and safety procedures Willingness to learn CNC machining, shop math (SAE & Metric), and precision measurement tools Pay Details $20.00 to $32.00 per hour Benefit offerings available for our associates include medical, dental, vision, life insurance, short‑term disability, additional voluntary benefits, EAP program, commuter benefits and a 401K plan.
