Associate Estate Planner - Hybrid

This position involves a fast-paced, high volume of client facing activities providing comprehensive services to existing clients, developing new business and assisting our advisors and financial planning team. Our ideal candidate will have a demonstrated track record of delivering excellent client service, with exceptional organizational, communication and problem-solving skills. You will join a team of dynamic, collaborative, and client-focused professionals who are focused on delivering on our founding core values: Integrity, Entrepreneurial, Inclusion, Connection.Responsibilities:Prepare all estate reviews for clients. This will include reviewing documents, preparing a firm-specific summary for clients that earmarks appropriate issues, and presenting that summary in client meetings with advisors and financial planners.Provide advisory services to clients on estate tax planning, wealth and business succession planning, charitable planning and trust tax planning.Communicate with strategic partners in attorneys or law firms to facilitate the drafting of estate documents.Conduct training sessions for the firm and planning team as needed.Perform tasks and other duties assigned by wealth management services team.Publicly represent the estate planning department through participation in firm marketing initiatives, including client and prospective client seminars, writing articles and blogs, and other activities.Coordinate with the financial planning department to illustrate estate planning concepts in our financial planning software as part of the financial plan delivery.Collaborate with the financial planning department on estate planning recommendations that require outside coordination with items such as the following, but not limited to: Life insurance illustrations, Business valuations, Donor advised funds, Buy-sell arrangements and funding, Business entity structure set up, Pre and post nuptial agreements, and Special needs trusts.Perform additional functions, duties and specific tasks of a similar nature as necessary in order to achieve the firm's business development and client retention objectives.Adhere to all company policies and procedures and perform business functions with focus on consistency, quality, and compliance.Qualifications:Juris Doctor (JD) and certified by the State BarMinimum of 2 years experience in estate planning.
