By joining Croda, you will be part of a team who are using smart science to create a more sustainable future.As we deliver our ambitious 2030 Growth Strategy, we’re looking for a Senior QC Analyst, responsible for biological and chemical evaluation of raw materials, in-process, final release and stability samples ensuring compliance and timely completion of assigned task as well as other auxiliary laboratory support functions. May also serve as a subject matter expert in define areas and provide training and guidance to other analysts.Who We’re Looking For:• Bachelor’s Degree in a scientific discipline• Relevant experience of 3+ years preferred• Laboratory experience of 4+ years required• Strong attention to detail• High level of integrity and reliability• Strong organizational and communication skills• Self-motivated• Ability to work in a team environment and independently• Proficient in Microsoft Office SuiteWhat You’ll Be Doing:Perform laboratory testing using standard laboratory procedures, principles, practices, concepts, and theoriesHave a complete mastery of assigned SOPs and can train others in their execution Develop and write SOPs as needed following GMP guidelines Perform daily operation and routine maintenance, calibration, and assist in troubleshooting of laboratory instruments and equipment Document and review routine data analysis, procedures, and results to ensure accuracy and compliancePrepare and maintain standard operating procedures and prepare documentation for test verification or validation studiesRecognize basic problems and adhere to quality standard procedures Assembles quality control data for further analysis; recognize problems; documents issues and initiates corrective actions Consult and interact with external and internal partners regarding test methods and results Responsible for preparation, calibration, and maintenance of laboratory and facility equipment Assist with the procurement of supplies and materials Perform duties associated with validation of QC assaysPromotes overall cleanliness/neatness of lab and storage areasCommunicates problems or potential issues in a timely mannerMaintain an understanding of cGMP and compliance in an analytical laboratory settingPerform regular upkeep of employee training records and complete company required training programsPrepare and align individual performance goals with department goalsTransfer strong knowledge of GMP guidelines/practices to new laboratory protocols and situationsAdhere to all applicable regulations, policies, and procedures for health, safety, and environmental compliance as outlined in the company's Standard Operating Procedures, Chemical Hygiene Plan, Emergency Contingency Plan, training memoranda, policy memoranda, Safety Data Sheets, Specification Records, etc.What We Offer:The successful candidate will receive a competitive salary and benefits package including:• Excellent Medical, Dental, and Vision coverage, available immediately.• Generous PTO• 401K Match• Wellness Reimbursement• Parental Leave • Career Development• Company paid and voluntary Life and AD&D Insurance• Short and long-term disability• Paid HolidaysAdditional Information: This is a site-based role located in Alabaster, Alabama.If you require any reasonable adjustments during the hiring process or experience any issues with our online application process, please email View email address on click.appcast.io Croda?At Croda, we believe our people are our difference.
