Job Overview Locum Tenens Physician Assistant Hospitalist Opportunity. Salary: $100 - $1,000 per hour. Mission‑driven academic health care organization serving over 1.4 million individuals across multiple counties within a southeastern region of the United States. The not‑for‑profit system is composed of approximately 13,000 team members and a physician network that includes over 1,100 providers offering both academic and community‑based care across 185+ primary and specialty clinics located in more than 110 facilities. Schedule Shifts vary but are 12 hours long: 7 PM to 7 AM 7 AM to 7 PM 2 PM to 10 PM Expectations Focus on admissions, consults, and co‑management of ED holds and admitted patients. Approximately 8-10 patients per day. No critical care responsibilities. No response to codes or serving as backup to the ED. Required Procedures Inpatient only – experience with inpatient care within the last 12 months. Licensing Active North Carolina Physician Assistant License required.
