The company is currently seeking a Assembler . Responsibilities Position Summary/ Primary Purpose Reporting to the Assembly Manager, the Assembly Technician (Laborer) will assemble conveyors/ carousel components according to specific drawings, Unit Build Instructions (UBI), and layout drawings in accordance with the customer/company specifications. Major Areas of Responsibility Assemble conveyors/ carousel components according to specific drawings, Unit Build Instructions (UBI), and layout drawings Test conveyor motors and track conveyor belting on queue conveyors Palletize/crate conveyors & carousel components in a manner applicable to each job Assist in the check-in of incoming shipments/shipping of outgoing shipments as required in the shop Keep shop in clean and proper order Basic Broad Knowledge English Language — Knowledge of the structure and content of the English language including the meaning and spelling of words, rules of composition, and grammar. Production and Processing — Knowledge of raw materials, production processes, quality control, costs, and other techniques for maximizing the effective manufacture and distribution of goods. Qualifications Basic Skills & Abilities Time Management — Managing one's own time and the time of others. Critical Thinking — Using logic and reasoning to identify the strengths and weaknesses of alternative solutions, conclusions or approaches to problems. Judgment and Decision Making — Considering the relative costs and benefits of potential actions to choose the most appropriate one.
