Mechanical Design Co-op Acoustic & Systems Engineering

Requirements Fundamental interest in and curiosity of all things mechanical, how they are designed, and manufactured! , Demonstrated experience with 3D modeling tools (preferrably Siemens NX or PTC OnShape) , Demonstrated ability to execute development tasks independently with a “can-do” attitude , Excellent written and verbal communication skills , Ability to collect and present technical data to a wide audience , Open and willing to initiate peer review of one’s work , Ability to work in a highly diverse, cross functional team , Sufficiently trustworthy to work in a high security, highly confidential laboratory , (Desirable) Prior experience with 2D detail drawing creation, DFM, DFA, DFMEA, tolerance analysis , (Desirable) Hands on machining and/or fabrication skills , (Desirable) An interest in audio, acoustics, speaker-building or music production , Currently enrolled or recent graduate in a College or University with a preferred field of study in Mechanical Engineering , Available to participate in our full-time co-op program from July - Dec 2026 , Ability to work out of our Boston office a minimum 4 days per week , Applicants must be authorized to work for any US employer, both now and in the future.
