Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Receiving Clerk to join our team in Carlsbad, CA. In this role, you will play a crucial part in ensuring that all incoming shipments are accurately processed and recorded. If you thrive in a fast-paced environment and have a knack for logistics, we want to hear from you!
Responsibilities- Receive and inspect incoming shipments for accuracy and quality.
- Document and record all received items in the inventory management system.
- Coordinate with suppliers and vendors to resolve discrepancies or issues.
- Maintain a clean and organized receiving area.
- Assist in inventory counts and audits as needed.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operations.
- Adhere to safety protocols and company policies at all times.
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional education in logistics or supply chain management is a plus.
- Proven experience in a receiving or warehouse role preferred.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry.
- Ability to lift and move heavy items (up to 50 lbs) as needed.
- Familiarity with inventory management systems and basic computer skills.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Strong problem-solving abilities and a proactive approach to tasks.
