Personal Care Aide

About the Role:
Purple Hearts Health Care Services is looking for a compassionate and dedicated Personal Care Aide to join our team in Americus, GA. Responsibilities:
Assist clients with activities of daily living (ADLs) including bathing, grooming, dressing, and toileting
Provide companionship and emotional support to clients in home or facility settings
Help with meal preparation, feeding assistance, and monitoring dietary needs
Support clients with mobility, transfers, and light exercise or physical therapy routines
Perform light housekeeping duties such as laundry, cleaning, and tidying living spaces
Monitor and report changes in client health, behavior, or condition to supervisors
Assist with medication reminders and maintain accurate care documentation
Requirements:
Prior experience as a Personal Care Aide, CNA, Home Health Aide, or caregiver preferred
Genuine compassion, patience, and a client-centered approach to care
Ability to assist with physical tasks including lifting, transferring, and supporting mobility
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Reliable transportation and ability to commute to client locations in the Americus, GA area
High school diploma or GED equivalent preferred
CPR/First Aid certification is a plus
