The Quality Coordinator position is responsible for maintaining documents and files to support the branch. Works with management to ensure compliance and quality standards are being followed. Responsibilities include:

  • Ensuring training of Quality team members and annual re-testing and records are maintained and accurate.
  • Supporting safety processes, requirements and culture.
  • Investigating, monitoring, documenting 5S housekeeping issues.
  • Promoting and executing quality standards and processes, quality plans, documents and reports.
  • Performing 5S housekeeping audits and reports.
  • Supporting the ISO/9001-2015 & TL-9000 V R6.1/R5.5 certification process and maintaining Quality System.
  • Tracking operations performance data and trends and monthly reports.
  • Supporting Quality Management systems in QMS, EDOCS.
  • Maintaining and updating all Quality Training matrix.
  • Coordinating and facilitating Roaming Audits for all department sites.
  • Periodic review of department internal control procedures.
  • Periodic review quality and production processes in order to identify and recommend process improvements that increase efficiency and/or accuracy of production.
  • Supporting Supervision with Quality operations.
  • Supporting Quality by making sure the customer requirements are met for the products by assuring stable processes are followed according to documented quality standards.
  • Assisting and following up on closing the loop on quality corrective action and root causes.
  • Working closely with management to recommend process Improvements changes.

Required Skills:

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, Excel, Power Point, Word and Outlook.
  • Ability to multi-task, prioritize, adapt to changing environment.
  • Must be organized, detail oriented, deadline driven, and self-motivated.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong oral and written communication skills including presenting to a group.
  • Ability to frequently lift objects up to 50 lbs.

Experience:

  • Minimum of 1 years of experience in a quality related role.
  • Experience with ISO/9001-2015 & TL-9000 V R6.1/R5.5 preferred.
  • Knowledge of General OSHA Standards preferred.
  • Previous experience auditing processes and reporting deficiencies a plus.

Education:

  • High school diploma or GED required.
