Continuous Improvement Engineer

Pay: $37-35 Duration: 1 yr Position Summary The Continuous Improvement Engineer supports site operations by driving the implementation of business excellence initiatives and fostering a culture of continuous improvement. This role partners closely with leadership, frontline teams, and customers to implement process improvements, optimize operational performance, and build sustainable OpEx foundations across the facility. Key Responsibilities Primary Job Functions / Objectives Create an environment that enables the timely and successful implementation of the site’s business excellence program, working closely with leadership and internal/external customers. Serve as a change agent to strengthen and grow a continuous improvement culture across the organization. Lead, motivate, and influence teams to drive action, achieve multiple objectives, and maintain a strong sense of urgency and teamwork. Identify, scope, and facilitate process improvement projects, workshops, and training sessions that promote cultural transformation and operational efficiency. Conduct thorough root cause analyses and leverage data to resolve distribution and warehouse issues, improve material flow, evaluate production capacity, support facility layout/design, and develop detailed process documentation. Actively manage, sustain, and enhance Operational Excellence (OpEx) foundations including 5S, Visual Factory standards, and GMP requirements. Ensure compliance with EHS standards and audit requirements, including safety meeting participation, near-miss reporting, and maintaining a zero-major-observation audit environment. Support management in ensuring all employees are engaged in OpEx activities, continuous improvement initiatives, and required training programs.
