Sterile Processing Technician

We are seeking a Sterile Processing Technician to join our team. The position requires a commitment to working night shifts from Monday to Friday, with no weekend work. Candidates should have a minimum of 1 year of experience, with preference given to those with 2 years of experience. First-time travelers are welcome to apply. This position does not require on-call duties. A certification in CBSPD or CRCST is required for this role. Local candidates within 50 miles of the facility are not eligible for travel contracts. All requests for time off must be included in the candidate's submission. Candidates should have experience in acute hospital settings and be proficient in cleaning and disinfecting equipment. Key skills include knowledge of sterilization procedures, case cart assembly, and proper selection of wrapping materials. Additional responsibilities may include testing and monitoring steam sterilization processes. The role involves working collaboratively with an interdisciplinary team to ensure effective patient care. Two references covering a minimum of one year within the last three years are required.
