This position is fully remote, allowing you the flexibility to manage your schedule while teleworking. However, you will primarily engage with clients through teletherapy and over the phone, maintaining a strong connection with the school community. You will also participate in regular team meetings that focus on continuous training and development to enhance your clinical skills.

  • Provide therapeutic services and support to clients through both telephone consultations and virtual face-to-face interactions.

  • Conduct thorough assessments to gather pertinent information about client backgrounds, psychological needs, and current challenges.

  • Facilitate crisis intervention for clients experiencing acute distress, offering immediate support and strategies to manage their situations.

  • Make relevant referrals to external agencies and services as appropriate to enhance clients' access to necessary resources.

  • Guide clients and families towards engagement in community activities and resources that promote mental well-being.

  • Maintain meticulous case records and prepare comprehensive reports that adhere to ethical standards and legal regulations.

  • Monitor and report signs of child abuse and neglect, collaborating with necessary authorities as mandated.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your work will focus primarily on children and adolescents within the school system who may be experiencing a variety of issues. Many of these young individuals face challenges related to neglect, exposure to domestic violence, mental health struggles, or the impact of parental substance abuse. Your role is pivotal in providing them with the support they need to thrive both academically and emotionally.

  • A Master’s degree in Social Work (MSW) or a closely related field is required for this position.

  • A current state-issued Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) certification is mandatory.
