About This Role The RN Ambulatory - Infusion position at Cleveland Clinic's Taussig Cancer Center involves providing professional nursing care in an ambulatory setting, focusing on patients with cancers or blood disorders. This role is ideal for compassionate caregivers who excel in patient assessments and care planning. Highlights Pay: $33.50 - $53.40/hour Location: Cleveland, OH Facility: Taussig Cancer Center Department/Unit: Hematology & Medical Oncology Schedule: Full-time, Day shift What You'll Do Provide professional nursing care in an ambulatory setting. Assess health status, complete nursing assessments, perform telephone triage and establish care plans. Administer medications and treatments. Initiate CPR and other emergency measures. Notify the physician and/or Licensed Independent Provider (LIP) of abnormal findings. Assist with specialized diagnostic procedures, therapeutic procedures and specialized patient care equipment. Develop, evaluate, adapt and document health education and provide it to patients and families. Cover other nursing roles within the department. Travel within the region to support physician clinics and surgical procedures, as needed. Requirements Education: Graduate from an accredited school of nursing Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred Experience: One year of recent experience as an RN Will consider LPN, Medical Assistant and/or other unlicensed clinical healthcare experience in substitution of RN experience for current Cleveland Clinic caregivers Licenses & Certifications: Current state licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN) Basic Life Support (BLS) certification through the American Heart Association (AHA) or American Red Cross About Cleveland Clinic Cleveland Clinic is a leading healthcare provider committed to delivering exceptional patient care.
