Registered Nurse - Cardiac Stepdown

Job Summary:

Seeking an experienced Registered Nurse for a Cardiac Stepdown unit, primarily working night shifts. The role requires proficient use of EPIC EMR and a strong background in cardiac patient care.

Responsibilities:

• 
  Provide comprehensive nursing care to adult cardiac patients on the stepdown unit during night shifts.
  
  
• 
  Monitor and interpret cardiac rhythms, adjusting care plans accordingly.
  
  
• 
  Administer medications and treatments in compliance with hospital protocols.
  
  
• 
  Collaborate with healthcare teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
  
  
• 
  Document patient assessments and interventions accurately in EPIC EMR.
  
  
• 
  Ensure adherence to safety standards and infection control procedures.
  
  

Qualifications:

• 
  Active RN license with minimum 1 year recent experience in a cardiac or stepdown setting.
  
  
• 
  Must possess at least 1 year of EPIC EMR experience.
  
  
• 
  Certification in ACLS and BLS through the American Heart Association.
  
  
• 
  Ability to pass a Med and Arrhythmia exam.
  
  
• 
  Must have current NIH certification.
  
  
• 
  Proven competency in cardiac rhythm interpretation and patient monitoring.
