Industrial Press Operator — Fabrication and Setup Specialist

Join Nexus Employment Solutions Plus, Inc. and help keep a busy warehouse operation in the Watseka, IL area running smoothly. This is a full-time role with weekly pay where your attention to detail and safety mindset make a direct impact every shift.

You begin by reviewing work orders and blueprints, setting up tooling and dialing in machine parameters to match required tolerances. You complete a first-piece check, run production, and keep a watchful eye on the machinery. If something seems off, you immediately alert your supervisor and help determine whether an adjustment, die swap, repair, or sharpening is needed. Before closing out, you complete a last-piece inspection and fill out the green tag for every work order, ensuring quality from start to finish. Your area stays organized and clean because safety and order are non‑negotiable.

• Configure tooling and machine settings for optimal performance
• Operate presses by following prescribed practices and instructions
• Read and interpret blueprints, sketches, and drawings to determine dimensions, tolerances, sequence, and setup needs
• Perform first-piece and last-piece inspections and complete a green tag for every work order
• Monitor equipment and promptly report faulty operation, required adjustments, die replacement, repair, or sharpening
• Set up machines according to blueprint specifications
• Maintain safety standards and a clean, orderly work area
• Perform additional duties as assigned

• Ability to read, write, and follow instructions
• Clear communication and teamwork skills
• Strong attendance record
• General math skills and proficiency with basic measuring tools
• High school diploma or equivalent; experience helpful but not required

• Full Time — Weekly Pay
• Pay: $15.00 – $17.00 per hour
• Shifts: 1st and 2nd
• Friday and Saturday as needed; overtime is mandatory when scheduled
• Worksite: Warehouse facility in the Watseka, IL area
